Mari-Katrina Suss (1984) began her violin lessons at the Nõmme Music School with Leila Eespere and continued after few years at the Tallinn Music High School with Tiiu Peäske, later with prof. Mari Tampere-Bezrodny.  In 2007 she received her Bachelors Degree cum laude and in 2010 Masters Degree cum laude from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre where she studied with prof. Mari Tampere-Bezrodny. At the present time she is continuing her studies at the doctoral level. She has worked with various Estonian orchestras (Pärnu City Orchestra, Tallinn Chamber Orchestra, Nordic Symphony Orchestra) and performed both as a soloist and as a chamber musician in Estonia and abroad. Since 2005 she is a member of Estonian National Symphony Orchestra. During the 2007/2008 season she also played as one of the concertmasters in Estonian National Opera. Since 2006 she is a member of Prezioso String Quartet.
